Structured Cable Technician
Structured Cable Technicians needed for both short, long and full time positions throughout the Del Rio area. We have immediate needs for technicians of all skills levels (Cable Pullers up to Project Managers). We also offer generous bonus payouts for qualified referrals we put to work!
Experienced cable technicians will have significant exposure to the following:
Pulling and terminating CAT5/ CAT6 in commercial environments.
Fiber experience (Including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, Splicing).
Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels.
Testing cables.
Troubleshooting networking issues.
Familiar with BICSI, EIA, TIA and NEC Standards a plus.
Requirements:
Must own your own basic telecom tools including: Punch down tool with a 66/110 blade, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, basic hand tools, Personal Protective Equipment including: Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and reference check.
Reliable vehicle and valid driver license. Some positions require a clean DMV record.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
